You'll usually find a range of 15-30 momme, however, silk between 19- 25 momme is considered ideal because the weave is more durable, the price more affordable, and more suitable for heavy-duty use. Here at Mommesilk, we offer intermediate 22-momme silk because 25-momme is too heavy for bedding and not cheap. We believe 22 momme is the perfect balance of comfort and price.
